Brand suites
The logo, plates, platform image sizes and copy each channel gets, the brand page, rendering it again, and downloading the whole suite as one ZIP.
A brand suite is everything a channel needs to look like one deliberate brand on the day it launches: a logo in every size, a banner, a cover, launch posts and highlight covers — and the words to go with them, from the bio to a step-by-step checklist of what to click on each platform. The pictures are rendered with the channel's own kit, so the brand looks like the videos.
What it does#
A brand suite is made in two steps, words first:
- The copy. The channel's brand document — its names, its promise, its voice, its colours, the bios and first posts for each platform — is written from the channel's identity. Writing the words first means a beautiful banner never carries the wrong tagline.
- The pictures. On a GPU box, an agent renders each picture as a plate — a background drawn by the channel's kit, with no text in it — and sets the typography on top. The emblem is checked at the size of a small avatar (40 px) and simplified until it still reads there.
The pictures#
| Picture | Size | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Profile picture | 1080 × 1080 | Facebook and Instagram profile picture |
| Profile picture | 800 × 800 | YouTube profile picture, and the LinkedIn logo |
| Video watermark | 300 × 300, transparent | YouTube Studio → Customisation → Branding → Video watermark |
| Channel banner | 2560 × 1440 | YouTube Studio → Customisation → Branding → Banner image |
| Cover photo | 1640 × 624 | The Facebook Page's cover photo |
| Launch post | 1080 × 1350 | The first Instagram post (and the Facebook first post) |
| Square post | 1080 × 1080 | The second Instagram post |
| Highlight covers | 1080 × 1920 each | An Instagram Story highlight → Edit highlight → Edit cover |
There are four highlight covers, named by the brand document (one word each), with rings in the brand's accent colour. The typography keeps to each platform's safe areas: nothing important outside the middle of the YouTube banner that every device shows, and nothing in the left part of the Facebook cover, where the profile picture sits on a phone.
The words#
The brand document opens with the channel's identity:
- the names — the channel's name and handles on each platform;
- the promise (the tagline) and a one-line description;
- the voice — how the channel speaks, and what it never does, which keeps three episodes a day consistent;
- the type and the mark — the typeface and what the emblem is;
- six colours, each with its hex value and its use, dark first (the videos are mostly dark and the type light).
Then a section for each platform, with the copy ready to paste — on YouTube, for example, the channel description, its keywords, the category and the footer for every upload's description; on Facebook, the Page's intro and about text; on Instagram, the name field and the bio (at most 150 characters) — followed by the first posts, the hashtags to rotate and, at the end, an apply checklist: what to click, in order, on each platform.
Wherever a contact is needed, the copy uses your workspace's billing email and name — never a phone number or a street address. Copy for platform bios avoids long dashes, which some platforms mangle.
How to use it#
Build it#
- Build the channel's kit first: the plates are drawn with it. Until it is built, the Brand suite card on the channel page says "Needs the kit first."
- On the channel page, press Build the brand on the Brand suite card. Its price is shown beneath.
- Follow it on the brand page (See it take shape →): the page shows "The brand suite is being built" with the step it is on, refreshes itself, and fills in when the suite is ready — usually in under an hour.
A channel set up by the autopilot gets its brand suite after its first episode; you do not need to start it yourself.
The brand page#
Open it with Open the brand suite on the channel page. A strip of buttons under the title jumps to each part:
| Part | What you find |
|---|---|
| Identity | The profile picture, the name, the promise, the one-line description, the names on each platform and the contact; the palette, each colour with its hex value and use; then the voice, the type and the mark |
| YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn | That platform's pictures, laid out the way the platform shows them, each with a Download link; then its copy |
| The document's other sections | First posts, hashtags, caption patterns, the apply checklist — in the document's own order |
| All files | Every picture with its size and where it goes |
Every block of copy is a card with a Copy button and a character count. Where the platform has a limit, the count reads against it — for example 132 / 150 for an Instagram bio — and turns red when the text is over it:
| Copy | Limit counted |
|---|---|
| YouTube channel description | 1,000 characters |
| YouTube channel keywords | 500 characters |
| Facebook Page intro | 101 characters |
| Instagram name | 64 characters |
| Instagram bio | 150 characters |
| LinkedIn tagline | 120 characters |
| LinkedIn about | 2,000 characters |
Short pieces of text inside the copy (a handle, a hashtag) can be copied with one click on them.
Apply it#
Work down the apply checklist platform by platform. It names the exact file for every step — on YouTube, for example, the profile picture, the banner and the video watermark all go in under YouTube Studio → Customisation → Branding — and the files in the ZIP sit in the folders it names, so it reads straight off the folder.
Download it#
- Download all (.zip) — at the top of the page and in All files: one archive named after the channel, with the brand document and every picture in its folder (
logo/,youtube/,facebook/,instagram/). If a picture cannot be read at that moment, the archive says so in aMISSING.txtfile inside it — it is never silently short — and that picture can be downloaded on its own from the page. - BRAND.md — the brand document alone, as a Markdown file.
- Download under any picture (Download PNG in All files) — that picture alone, named after the channel and the picture.
Only members of the workspace can open the page or download the files.
Rendering it again#
After the kit has been improved, or whenever you want fresh pictures:
- Press Rebuild on the channel page's Brand suite card, or Render the plates again at the bottom of the brand page (its price is on the button).
- The pictures are rendered again with the channel's kit, as it is now. The copy is kept — the brand document is not rewritten.
- The suite you have stays on the page until the new pictures are ready: the page says "A new version of the plates is rendering".
Settings#
The brand suite has no settings of its own: it follows the channel. Its colours are the channel's palette; for a channel started from a proven format, its accent is the channel's own look. The suite's accent is also the colour of highlighted words in the Highlight caption style (see Caption styles).
Credits and plans#
- A brand suite is a one-time setup job, priced at the lower setup rate, like a kit. Its price is shown before it starts; the typical figure for each plan is in the pricing page's "What things cost" table, as "A brand suite".
- Rendering it again is priced the same way: it is the same job.
- A build that stops on our side is not charged; the page then says "This was on our side, so it was not charged."
- Brand suites are on every plan, the Trial included, within its credits.
Limits and good to know#
- Who can do what: editors, admins and owners build and rebuild a suite; every member can view and download it.
- The handles are proposals. The names in the brand document are the ones drafted with the channel. Claim them on each platform yourself; if one is taken, use the one you get — the video's corner mark follows the connected YouTube account's real handle, not the document.
- The suite is never posted for you. You apply it on each platform by hand, with the checklist.
Troubleshooting#
- "The last brand build did not finish." The page says why and links to the job. A build missing a picture says which; press Build the brand again — it keeps what is already there.
- A count is red. The text is over that platform's limit. Shorten it before you paste it; the platform would cut or refuse it.
