Sponsorship media kit

A media kit for brand deals — the channel, its reach, its audience only with your consent, and a suggested rate card — shared by an unlisted link you can replace or stop.

A brand that considers a sponsorship wants to know what your channel is, who watches it, how many people a post reaches and what it costs. The media kit puts that on one page, in the channel's own look and your words, behind a private link you send to the brands you choose — with a printable version and a PDF for the ones who ask for a file.

What it does#

What the kit shows#

A kit starts from the channel's brand suite and its own numbers. Each section can be shown or hidden:

SectionWhat a sponsor seesShown at first

Reach, measured conservatively#

A platform's typical reach is the 40th percentile of the views of its last 20 posts that are at least three days old — a little below the median on purpose, so a sponsor is never shown your best week as your usual one. It needs at least five such posts. Engagement is the median share of views that liked or commented.

Followers on a platform ChannelForge cannot measure can be typed in under Followers ChannelForge cannot measure; the kit shows them as stated by the creator.

The age, gender and country breakdowns are your accounts' own analytics: YouTube Analytics' age and gender and its top ten countries by views over 90 days (with the channel's analytics permission). Facebook shares no audience breakdowns (the kit shows its followers), and Instagram's wait for Meta's App Review of our app.

They never appear on the kit until a member who may publish ticks I choose to show these breakdowns — including YouTube Analytics' figures for this channel — to anyone who has the kit's link. and presses Show them on the kit. Stop showing them takes them off at once.

A suggested rate card#

DeliverableWhat the brand gets
A dedicated shortan episode built around the brand, posted on every platform the channel posts to
A mention in a shorta clear mention of the brand inside one of the channel's regular shorts
An integration in a long-form videoa segment inside one of the channel's long-form films
A carousel posta photo carousel on Instagram and Facebook
A link-in-bio slot (a week)the brand's link on the channel's profiles for a week

Each rate is suggested from your measured reach: the typical views per post on each platform the deliverable runs on, times a dollar figure per 1,000 views for that kind of deliverable, added up — the link-in-bio slot from your measured followers. The editor shows the basis beside each suggestion, for example "typical views per post on Instagram, Facebook × $12 per 1,000 views". Suggestions are rounded down, and below $20 — or with nothing measured — there is none: set that rate yourself.

Every rate is yours to change: a rate you type replaces its suggestion, and Show only the rates I set (the others read "On request") turns suggestions off altogether. The kit always says: "Rates are a starting point for a conversation, set by the creator. Reach figures describe past posts; they are not a promise of future results."

Share the kit makes an unlisted link of the form https://forge.storeswiki.com/mk/…. Anyone who has the link can open the kit; it is listed nowhere, search engines are told not to index it, and the page sets no cookie and runs no script. Every save shows on the shared page at once.

  • New link replaces the link: the old one stops working at once (send the new one to the brands you still talk to).
  • Stop sharing ends the link.

A link that is stopped, replaced or unknown answers the same plain "not found", which says nothing about the kit.

How to use it#

  1. Open the channel's page and, in its Media kit card, press Make the media kit (or Open the media kit).
  2. In the editor beside the preview, choose the sections under What the kit shows.
  3. Under In your words, write a One-liner (leave it empty to use the channel's own), About the channel and A note on the formats; fill in Contact.
  4. Under Rate card, keep the suggestions, type your own rates, or tick Show only the rates I set. Choose the Currency and add A note under the rates if you like.
  5. Under Look, adjust the Accent colour (from the brand suite; the text always stays readable).
  6. Press Save the kit. The preview shows it as a sponsor will see it.
  7. Press Share the kit and send the link — or download the PDF, or open Printable and print it.

Every member can read the kit; editors, admins and owners edit it, share it and decide on the audience.

Credits and plans#

The media kit costs nothing: the audiences are read once a day for accounts linked to a channel with a kit, and none of it holds or charges credits. It is on the Creator plan and above; on the Trial the page explains it and links to the plans.

Limits and good to know#

  • The PDF prints Latin text only. Text in another script prints as "?" there, and the editor says so; use Printable and your browser's Save as PDF instead.
  • No AI wording. ChannelForge never labels a kit that way; if your own text mentions AI, the editor points it out ("Sponsors read these words") so you can check it reads as you want a brand to see it.
  • Kept while the channel allows it. The audiences are deleted when no kit uses the account, when its connection is removed, a week after it is revoked, or 30 days after its sign-in last worked. A deleted workspace's share links stop.
  • Wrong guesses at links are limited: a visitor who keeps trying links that do not exist is stopped for the hour.

Troubleshooting#

You seeWhy, and what to do
A rate says "No measured reach yet: set this rate yourself."Fewer than five posts at least three days old on that platform. Type the rate.
"Too little measured reach to suggest a rate"The suggestion would be under $20. Type the rate.
"Long-form reach is not measured yet"No measured long-form views; set the integration's rate yourself.
"The kit is not shared. An editor or an owner can share it."Your role reads; ask an editor, an admin or an owner.
A brand says the link does not openIt was replaced or stopped. Send the current link.
